Who is Leslie Luis?

I am a Canadian with Portuguese roots….maybe that’s where my love to travel comes from. I love to teach and it has helped fund my travels. I love math and science. Call me crazy, I love teaching middle school – bring on the teen angst. When I’m not teaching, I love to travel.

I have backpacked before smartphones and wifi became a common necessity, before tripadvisor and booking.com were an app. I have seen the world of travel evolve to what it is today.

How Forever Globetrotter Began

I love talking about where I’ve gone and where I plan to go next. I have people who contact me for tips for their next big trip. Friends and family have always said I should have a blog and I have had a few failed attempts on chronicling my adventures.

Forever Globetrotter is my way to put all the things I’ve learned along the way and a place I can put my tips and information in a concise form. It’s not a diary…it’s not a book…it’s to the point and meant to be a source of travel information based on my experiences.
